Bypassing supercharger
Hey just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to bypass a whipple supercharger with a stock fan belt. I bought an 07 f150 with a whipple supercharger on it and the pulley broke off towing a trailer today. Just wondering if it's possible to temporarily bypass the supercharger by installing a stock fan belt so I can get back home.

Not sure that would work. The insides of a supercharger are amazingly tight in terms of tolerances. I believe the engine will not be capable of breathing if the supercharger is not turning. The compressor blades will cause far too much resistance. I'm not smart enough to know if it is possibly to dismount the supercharger, but I'm guessing that's more work than waiting for a source pulley.
