Was the last stock-bodied Ford in NASCAR the early 1990s T-bird?

The front noses and rear clips are different for each manufacturer. The sides and rooflines are basically the same.

Anymore I look at NASCAR as something more like a reality show that has some racing than anything else. For some reason I don't understand myself, I guess I find it strangely entertaining...and most times not for the reasons that NASCAR intends. The true racing was better years ago and I don't like the direction they've taken, but I still watch. Maybe it's like looking at something so strange you just can't NOT look at it...LOL

Or are you getting your nascar fix on espn classics?
Both...I watch certain races. Daytona (liked it better when they raced on the beach). Talledaga; Michigan and Homestead.

It was fun here once. We had Riverside, the great road course (Dan Gurney won most of the races), and the Ontario Motor Speedway. Now the only venue is Penske's California Motor Speedway in Fontana. This track has never had a sell out...wonder why?

I listened to the races since the 60s (I still remember Fireball Roberts getting killed as clearly as yesterday) and I've watched the races on TV since they have been on. However, my interest has dropped greatly since the cars went generic and the drivers went corporate PC. I got a DVR that is the best thing to watch a race I have found. I can watch a 500 mile race in about an hour. I can record a race, start watching it about an hour or an hour and a half before it is over and see the entire race and see the end live. I skip through the commercials, flags, and the boring parts of the race. It records the late part of the race while I watch the early part and I don't miss a thing. It also works great with football. You can record a football game and if you hit the skip button when the whistle blows, the quarterback is getting the next snap.

NASCAR is all about the money now. Too corporate anymore. I watch until the end of last year. My driver retired form the 6 car and Jack Roush (to go drive a Chevy because it was the only part time ride he could get). That, and the fact that they let Toyota into the game did it for me.
I for one, will no longer be watching NASCAR. I do wish the Roush/Yates teams well this year.
