Fast Idle Problem
My father called and said he is having a problem with extreme fast idle when started. He said it is so fast he is worried it is going to destroy the valve train. From what he means is it is over 2000 rpm's for a very long time and will eventually come down. The dealer got him for a mass air flow sensor and didnt change a thing. The ? is they dont know but took his money. It runs so fast and just wont kick down for a long time. I said maybe TPS? He cannt do much work on it him self. 95 F150 six cyl EFI all stock around 105 thou miles.
