Maztool, I can give you a "pin". All I need is your name, address, last four of SS#, what vehicle you're replacing, and what you're buying. Then, once I give you the pin, you go to the dealer, tell him you have an "x" plan pin, and then on any vehicle you're considering, the "x" plan price will be on the invoice, and they have to show it to you.

gui88ford, the "X" plan is a Ford Motor Company program where employees or retirees can help sell FMC products by offering a discount from the "suggested retail price". The discount is near the dealer's cost of the vehicle. It works very well on a vehicle that is selling well and the dealers are demanding the "sticker" price. If a vehicle is a slow mover, then sometimes the dealer will discount the vehicle on his own down to or even below the X plan price. That's why sometimes you see cases where people have done better than the X plan price. All you can do is select what you want, see how good of a deal you can make on your own, then tell them you have an X plan "PIN". The X plan price is on the dealer's invoice, and they have to show it to you. The X plan price is set by FMC, and the dealer can't change it. The X plan is only good on new vehicles

Can anybody use an "x" plan pin or do you have to be a current or former Ford employee? If not I would sure be interested in an X pin. I am trying to get the new F450 and dealers are not willing to budge on the numbers.
