I just bought saturday. I have xplan and that price was 26100 out the door. You are not alowed to negotiate the xplan price it is fixed. I tried another dealer just negotiating and got the same truck for 24800. Without pushing then too hard, and it was a dealer transfer, if they have something on the lot you can do even better.
Xplan is a deal on somethings, but its not on a suoerduty.
Or you can buy some stock...or if you own some Ford stock...then you are eligible to obtain and use an X-plan for yourself!
Like Anomic said, sometimes they don't work out being cheaper. It all depends on what incentives are out there and how good your negotiating skills are!
We bought on the X Plan three weeks ago and I felt it was the best deal we could get. It takes all the pressure out of negotiation, unless you enjoy that sort of thing, which I don't. Once the X plan price was established all the factory incentives are deducted from the lower price. I drove off the lot very happy with our deal.
I would go in saying you might buy through X plan and see what they will do.
+1
I went to the dealer and let them know I had a x plan pin number, but that I may not use it if they can get me a better deal by paying cash. It's up to them, either way, I don't have the patience to haggle, nor am I all that good at it, so whichever gets me the better deal is fine by me.
