I have a 94 Bronco and ther are a few stupid little rattels on the inside and I was woundering if anyone else has had this problem? The little Gray strip on the dash(the on that says XLT on it)rattles and the plastic right above the passenger door rattels too, Any segestions?
I took an old innertube cut it into small squares then cut small hole in the center, used this between any p;astic to plastic screw or press in connections, helped a lot. also tightened up every thing i could put a screwdriver, or wrench to, also tighened down the quarter panels, hood anything, got rid of a LOT of my babys creaks and groans.
My Dad used to take business cards and fold them to the thickness he needed and wedge them in the areas the squeeked. One day, he found a major squeek between the fiberglass top and the cab. He didn't have any cards with him, but he did have a small screwdriver. That screwdriver stayed wedged in there for about 2 years until he traded it in on a newer Bronco. It didn't look very good, but it sure was a conversation starter for anyone who sat in the back seat.
