truck burping??

truck burping??

i put in a aem brute force cold air intake and now when i let off the fuel after hitting it it sounds like the ol girl is burping?? it is a 05 6.0 sd with the banks six gun pda in it. it works and runs fine other wise any help??

Sounds interesting..... like an exhaust brake, only on the other end. Sorry, can't be of more help.

i have been useing the same fuel since before the intake or the banks system. would that cause it to do this? is this a normal thing?

Mine did something similar. It was an injector problem.

the banks pda showed a code a few weeks ago for 0281 injector #7but it cleared up??

This is normal, there are many threads about it in the 6.0L forum. The variable turbo can't stop creating pressure as fast as you're letting off the gas, so some of the extra pressure comes back out through the turbo and makes the noise.
