I see everyone praising the Fumoco valve. I had one in my 7.3L and removed it because it took so long for the oil to drain. It seemed it took forever for the oil to drain out. As a result I have not got one for my 6.0L. Anyone else have this problem?

I only use my fog lights when entering the air base that I work at. This is a MUST! I also only use my fog lights at the boat ramps to be considerate to the other people launching their boats. My 03 comes on without the headlights being on or with them on also. Didnt no the 04 couldnt do that.

I drive an 03 an a 06. I can turn on the fog lights on both trucks by turning the switch to Park or Running lights posistion and pulling out on the switch.

Get the valve without the nipple for faster flow.

Also you should change the oil when the motor is at operating temp so all oil flows down and of the motor and is suspending any sediment it make have stuck too.

Warm oil flows faster than cold oil.

You have to have your running lights on to activate your for lamps.

Cool, thank you!

Ya' know, once they told me what it was, I order it on the spot. I hope it gets here tomorrow! The order shipped the same day (Thursday) as the order--within hours of the order!

Talking Wow, Wow, Wow

Well I was in Walmart today and finally saw some Shell Rotella T Synthetic on the shelf, so, knowing I was only about 200 miles away from my next oil change I picked up (2) 1 qt. containers @ $2.42 ea. and (3) 1 gal. containers @ $16.24 ea. I already had the filters on hand.....got them earlier at a steal of a deal .
I rushed right home, spread the tarp on the ground, grabbed the oil pan, 3/8 drive ratchet & 36mm LISEL socket and my trusty Leatherman Tool.
Popped the hood, loosened the oil filter cap. Crawled under the truck popped the spring clip off my FUMOTO VALVE , opened the valve and had oil draining without a drop on me. YAHOO!!!. Went topside, finished removing the cap. Changed the filter and O-ring out and had it ready to install. Went back under the truck, took a sample for BLACKSTONE LABS. Went back topside, preped the oil containers and checked all the other fluids. Oil had now drained out. I closed the valve, re-installed the clip. Installed the filter/cap and filled with 13 qts of oil. Started the motor. Ran for a few minutes. Stopped and checked the level. Added 1/2 qt. Then headed for post office to mail off my sample. Returned home. Checked level again, and was in normal range.
I gotta say it.....I love the Fumoto Drain Valve. I have never had a cleaner change than the one I had today. I would recommend the VALVE for anyone who does their own changes. I can't wait till the next 5K change.
