Don't know if this is the right thread, but here goes. Does anyone know anything about Glow Shift Gauges? I see them on Ebay all the time, but have never heard of them before. Any experiences?
Most of the time the junk that pops up on Ebay, is just junk. If your going to buy guages, get quality. NuImage makes nice faces, autometer or MSD has good shift light.
I have quite a few of the "Glow Shift" gauges and like them. If you opt for these don't get the "blackout" ones - you will have trouble seeing them during the day.
The regular face 7 colour ones work fine IMO (and I have verified the acurracy against known good test gear) and I like the idea of being able to select different colours when I want. I use that to highlight a gauge I might want to keep an eye on for example. To some a gimmick I suppose, however I like em. They were promptly shipped, came with all HW and cables and had decent instructions.
