I'm thinking of getting the Magnaflow 16614 (SI/DO) dual out the rear for my truck. There's a footnote "*May require modification to fit on vehicles equipped with trailer hitch."
What dictates if a modification will be needed? My hitch is OEM from the factory.
Who has installed this kit with a trailer hitch and had to modify?
What were the mods required?
Who has a hitch and didn't need to modify?
I'd hate to spend the $$ on a kit and then have to also go to a muffler shop.
Just Put the same system on my 06 F150 piece of cake. passenger side took a little playing with by the trailer hitch but there was enough play in the system to line every thing up . my spare is a 285 so the pipe is somewhat close to the tire. It sounds great. I had the same concerns as you,but it was easy took about an hour
sorry haven't checked Email in a while. I have a 6.5 bed. it is a supercab with the two suicide doors. I talked to a local magnaflow dealer who said if you have slight mechanical skills you can do it your self. The system sounds great
