if you want to use the 04 bmper, you must use the 04 header. its not that the header will not work, its just that the 04 grill will not clip in at the bottom. what are you doing about a gril? are you getting a new grill? if the truck is damaged, this would be the best time to do everything.

i'm just not sure if i want to replace the bumper... i cant use the 04 bumper with an 05 grille right?... i am a bit torn as to what i want to replace..
Even though i've been paid for the repairs i cant justify replacing a bumper with a small tiny scratch..

If you want to upgrade the whole front end later just sell the grille. You will have no problem selling it.
