i tried searching but could not find much, i am looking to do a 2005 headlight and grille conversion on my 2000 ex. i have heard of people modifying stuff and what not. what are some alternatives instead of buying a full front end(modify headlight panel, cut grille, etc) and still make it look good
thanks i eat hybrids.. jayyslow, you can do several things. just do headlights, just do modified grill to fit old front end, do, old headlights with new grill and bumper. just remember, if you want the new grill, you have to do the bumper.
I bought one of those modified Grills on EBay. It is great!!! It is a brand new Ford OEM grill, inserts, and Ford Emblem that has been somehow cut (Laser, CNC?) where the cut is PERFECT. I also put Street Scene Polished Grill Inserts. I did not want to fool with the bumper. You will have to cut the OLD header panel. But with a Sawsall and a Dremel, it takes maybe an hour, and you save the $140+ for the 2005-2006 Header Panel, WHICH WILL NOT WORK WITH THE OLD BUMPER!! Anyway, I'm happy with the Grill and the guy on EBay is a very nice guy. I also put Harley Headlights on which look great.
