I installed a set of projector headlights that I got from Matrix racing. These have individual high and low beams as well as a projector fog in the housing. I am running a diode between the hi/low on both sides so that all four will come on when using high beams. Installed the Ultra Silverstars and clear corner lenses with Silverstar yellow indicator bulbs (look very nice during the day). Lighting is decent, makes the front of my 01 SD look more up to date. The hhousings say made in China, but the quality seems okay, with correct OEM adjusters, etc... I think this is an APC marketed conversion but I did have a hard time finding a vendor. Matrix took about two weeks to get them to me, but they did arrive well packaged and the pricing seemed about right. Just google the name to find them, don't want to get a mod mad at me
Just completed the projector installation. Wow. what a pain in the but! Had to cut away some of the headlight bracket. Definitely NOT plug and play! Look good though. Not easy to aim and you have to remove the whole assembly if you need to change the bulbs. Replaced the side marker white bulb and LED with amber ones. Used Silverstar turn signal bulb too. Will upgrade the headlight bulbs once I hear back from Daniel Stern. Hope you have a lot of patience if you decide to get these headlights.
You can use the OEM housings from the 2002-2004 year trucks or do the full front end swap to the '05-'07 year trucks. Swap in some Silverstar bulbs and upgrade the wiring harness will help increase brightness as well.
Whats the difference between the 2000 and 2004 housings.....I can't tell the difference but then I can't find any decent pics.

I'm having second thoughts about projector.
Think I am gonna try either a 2004 swap (if I like them) or diamond cut housings.
are these stock 2004? (headlight and fog light) If so, think I might just do a front end swap. Is f-350 interchangable with f-250? Or do I need to find an '04 f-250?

Reason: adding question
All of the 1999-2004 Superduties are interchangeable. I don't know about the legal aspect, but a guy on Ebay has HID conversions going for under $200. It includes bulbs, ballasts, and wiring harness. It's supposed to be plug and play.

I believe I saw those and they are low-beam only and are illegal as usmc says.
anyone know why the shipping is so expensive on all of the headlights for our trucks on ebay. I'm sure they're a little fragile, but not 40$ fragile. Also, anyone have thier stock 02-04 lights they'd like to get rid of?
