Tentative date for September Meet--N--Greet is on the 15th or 16th. Blades Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. is holding its annual Car--Truck show. Since this is the first meet in Sussex County and it is in my home town, I will be hosting this G2G for the chapter.
Details for the show date and times, trophies, etc will be posted in the general chapter thread soon.

For the October Meet, any ideas or suggestions?
Del Rods has their Kenton cruise in, I think.
Or maybe Suicide Bridge (Maryland Eastern Shore), then all areas will have been visited at least once this year.

On or about the first of October, I am going to post a thread asking for nominations for the 2008 Chapter Leader.
Before nominating someone, please check with the person to be sure they will accept the position if elected.
At the appropriate time, the Chapter Leader Nomination Thread will be closed and a new thread will be posted requesting nominations/volunteers for the FOUR Board Member seats, New Castle, Kent, Sussex and MD Eastern Shore.
Hopefully at least one member will be nominated to fill each position.
Elections, if necessary, will be conducted and completed by December 1. This is to allow the FTE Admin amply time to make the changes so the new chapter leader will have all of the powers bestowed by January 1, 2008.
It has been a GREAT year for the Delaware Chapter thus far, let's end it with a successful nomination and election process.
Still thinking about an annual chapter dinner before the end of the year. If you have any suggestions, send me a PM or email message.

Rich, our Chapters Moderator, at my request has split the 2007 "We Would Like To Get To Know You" thread because of the number of posts, all good, very good posts. The load time was getting to be a problem for 56K users.
