Why thank you Terry for noticing. Trying to keep secrets from you and the rest of FTE CL's. 
Been too busy trying to get the members UP for the H (.)(.)TERS meet. So far not much interest.
BTW thanks for the 4,000th post in the Delaware Chapter.

Oh, please tell me that you're kidding. Delaware's 4,000th post was me bashing the CL??? Now that's funny.
Whether one member, or twelve, or 803 show up at that meet, remember the pics! For some reason, the Hooters pics have really helped our meets. Go figure.

There will be no formal meet-n-greet planned for July. Todd, Toad8xu was working on something with Peninsula Motors but have not heard from Todd on this one.
July seems to be a busy month camping, vacations, shows, etc.
If one of the members would like to host an event, I am not opposed to it, just post it in the forum and we will see what happens.
Carlisle ATN is coming up in August.
DAFB Car, Truck & Bike show is also in August. More details to be provided by Dawgs150.

Let's all be thinking about nominations for Chapter Leader and Board members for 2008.
In November, I will open a thread for nominations and leave it open for the month.
We had talked about having an Annual Chapter Dinner sometime in December. We can use this time to vote on the new leaders.
If the annual dinner is a no go, then I will post a thread so we can vote online.
Officers to be elected are:
Chapter Leader
New Castle County Board Member
Kent County Board Member
Sussex County Board Member
MD Eastern Shore Board Member
Chapter Secretary is appointed by the Chapter Leader.
Sound like a plan?

Agree with you on that. Do you want to work on the nominating committee to seek out members who would want to serve as one of the officers/directors?

Got a PM from one of our chapter members who asked why we were losing members.
Well this is not the case. FTE changed the way they wanted to see the chapters run about 4 months ago. Their ruling was that to be a member of a chapter you had to reside in the state or be closer to where you live for attending chapter functions. You can no longer be a member of multiple state chapters.
I changed the format in the thread "How To Join The Delaware Chapter" to include only the "legal" members. LOL
For example it is easier and less expensive for Maryland eastern shore residents to belong to the Delaware Chapter than it is to belong to the Maryland Chapter.
The Delaware Chapter is actually growing each month with new members from Delaware and Maryland eastern shore.
We have gained new members for each month in 2007, up to 53 now, and our chapter is not even a year old yet.
