Well the time has come to paint my truck. Its a 79 F-150, pics in gallery. I was thinking on the dark grey you see on newer Dodges, not sure how this would look. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
I would like paint it with sparkle bright pink paint and put some big gangster white walls on it and then make it so it would hop up and down like in LA.know what I mean cusz?

1972 corvette green with extra gold metallic(deep forrest green that catches your eye on a sunny day). I saw this on a 32 ford a few years back at the "back to the 50's" car show and the owner said this.
I really like the pewter color that was on the 98 or so chevy's or the harvest gold color that was ford in about 2001. They are quite similar to the arizona beige but I think they are a bit nicer. These colors are easy keepers, dont show dirt, dont show swirl marks, and they really look good with lots of chrome. Just my $.02 worth.
That body style looks nice with the tan sides and brown hood and roof.
I'm planning on "Dark Charcoal metallic", like on the new beetles (only good thing on anything from VW lately) for my 69 F250, but keep in mind that the darker the color, the better the bodywork has to be. Mettallic hides to some extent, but waves and less than smooth transitions show up bigtime.
Well the goldish and tan ideas aren't bad. They have a nice clean look and are definatley possibilities. The reason I'm leaning towards a grey is because it can be dark enough for chrome to stick out nice, but still light enough it wont look too dark with some black features, but that could likley work with a tan too. The teal idea im not too sure on. Not that its not a nice color its just not the trucks style. As for the burgendy idea, that was my #1 choice. Actually it was going to be "garnet" red, a deep shade that looks almost purple without light but perfect in the sun. I decided against it because there are only about four trucks in town like mine two are red and two are black. She's gotta stand out
Thanks for the sugestions keep em comin' some pretty good ideas.
