Question about '84 AOD
I have an '84 AOD that came out of a F150 that I am rebuilding at school but before I buy the kit I would like to know if it's even worth rebuilding. I've heard that these AOD's had reliability issues. True? If so, is there anything I could do to beef it up to withstand a little abuse. It would be going behind a 351W. Thanks for any help.

If you insist on using an AOD, add the largest external trans cooler you can find, and stay out of overdrive in heavy traffic.
