66 Kingpin Diameter?

Does anyone have the diameter of the kingpins for a 66 F100? I'm buying bronze bushings and need to know the size of the reamer I need to find.

Thanks

Are you just buying the bushings or the whole kit? I would personally buy the whole kit since they can be had for under $40. Call the place you are buying your parts from since they will have first hand knowledge of the sizes you are looking for. Also as a side note. Your king pins will wear out of round over a long period of time or they could have been upsized already.

I’m buying the kit, but I assume that the bushings will still need to be reamed after they are pressed in. Actually I am ordering parts to rebuild the entire front end including the disk brake up grade. I’m going to be driving this truck a lot and want it to be as safe as possible.

Mr. Bill, the '65 king pin part number is different than the '66-'70 part number for the king pin, but the diameter and length are shown as being the same. What makes the '65 different, or special, as compared to the other years? Thanks!

The king pin spindle bolt, locking pin bolt is in a differing location on a 65 axle than on a 66 up.

This is why you get asked for the year.

On the 60 refrence the parts guy has bad info.
