Kingpin size

I have a '66 F100 and need to replace the kingpins. The I beam is stamped C5TA-8-B. There are two kingpin sizes listed on Rockauto, .8592" and .8692". Which is the correct size?

The set with .8692 pins are slightly oversized for spindles that are damaged and need to be bored out. If it helps, I have a 66 2WD and used the AC Delco 45F0101 kit. It has nylon bushings and did not list a size, so I don't think there are 2 different sizes for that year.

'65-'74 F100 kingpins are .859" in diameter by 6.35" in length.

In 1975 ('75-'79), the kingpins of the F100/F150 were the same .859" in diameter but, the length increased to 6.49".

But, 1965 F100/250 2WD king pins are 1965 only! The spindle lock pin is in a different location than 1966 and later.

Since the I beam is stamped C5TA, does that make it a 1965 kingpin, even though the truck is a '66?

I feel like ND is about to say something about that being a casting number and not a part number, so you can't tell what year it's from. Let's see what happens...

No.
R & L I-Beam is the same: 1965/70 F100/250; 1971 F100/250 before serial number M00,001.
