And do you know how many times I've seen ASE Certified mechanics screw up? Everyone is human. People do make mistakes. I don't know about anyone else, but my energy is lost on this one.

I thought it was impossible to put distributor in backwards after checking 5 times with 2 mechanics where i work on a truck once we checked TDC like 50 times and wound up being wrong. Always worth a double check even if you are certified. Everyone could make a simple mistake no matter what they know. I would also recheck your grounds.

12 - Idle Speed Control motor or Air Bypass not controlling idle properly (generally idle too low) - ISC

22 (I wouldn't think it's 222?) - MAP (vacuum) or BARO signal out of range - MAP

222 (found 3-digit codes) - (M) IDM open or high or right coil pack failure - Ignition Systems <-- this points to what I would think is a EDIS ignition, not a TFI ignition??

Hope this helps

well before actually checking my KOER codes i have to replace my flywheel. I moved my ground a while ago and it caused my starter to break and then screwed up my flywheel. so ill keep you posted.

Ouch, sorry to hear about the starter/flywheel situation. That's not fun at all.

I'd lean more towards the IAC being the issue, as well as the MAP (it's known to happen, and having both being screwy, makes it worse). The good-old tempermental cold-natured Ford thing, so to speak. I have a similar situation, but it's probably a combo of the IAC and needing to re-adjust my idle stop. I've noticed sometimes, when I let the truck warm up for 5-10 minutes before driving it, it doesn't do it as much. *shrug*

Let us know how things go after you get the flywheel fixed
