How do I disable door chime

I have a 2007 F250 supercab and want to disable the door chime.

It goes off even when the key is out of the ignition (for 30 annoying seconds)? And I want to disable it.

I see in the owners manual directions for the seat belts which is great but nothing on the doors. ( iguess seatbelts aren't as important!)

The best way is remove the speedometer and pull the chime out of the back of it. It is a black round plastic piece about 3/4" in diameter,there is instructions posted somewhere, dry a search .

I have a 2007 F-250, I don't get a chime if I leave a door open, as long as the keys are out of the ignition and the lights are not on.

Push in the latch on the door itself. So it thinks it’s closed. To unlatch it pull and hold door handle and use a screw driver to flip the latch to open.

Pink wire maybe?? In the ignition cylinder assembly. I'm going off memory here. Disconnect it and tape up the end so it doesn't contact anything. Doors can stay open with no chime BUT chime will sound if you leave parking or headlights on.
