I don't think its an option to shut the door chime off. I'm gonna find the switch or the chime and stab it.
The Volume of the chime should, at the very least, be adjustable.

In my '02 I tore the steering column down and cut the appropriate wire to disable the key in ignition/door open chime. It was driving me nuts.
In maintaining our property I am constantly stopping with door open and engine running and that chime was very irritating. I also disabled the seat belt alarm as I don't need a seat belt while on site.
I will be standing at the ready with wire cutters when my truck comes in if anyone figures out how to disable these alarms.

Back in the old days, we would disconnect a wire from the actual chime that was located under the dash. My old Ram and Durango, you could disable it through programming.
Does the SD use a physical chime device or is it just a sound played through the speaker system?

Had our 2018 F350 apart today. Had no luck. Wasn't like the 2012 or 2015 F350's we had. Just had to take the switch out on them and tape the contact. On the 2018, I had the ignition switch in my hand with the door open and the damn chime just kept going. Didn't see any contact to tape or wire to disconnect so I put it back together. Hope someone comes up with a way to disable it cause it drives a person nuts.

How did you do it with forscan and can you share?
Certainly I can share. Go to the first thread linked below and learn all you can about Forscan ... primarily, check out the Forscan spreadsheet for Super Duty trucks. Then make certain you study & obey everything in the Forscan tutorial linked further below. Is it easy? Yeah, but only after you take the time to learn/comprehend & spend the $$$ for the tools to make it work correctly.
