2001 F 250 supercrew

I am thinking about buying a 2001 Supercrew Lariat. I would like to know some pros or cons about the v10 engine. The only thing I will be pulling is a 25ft. poontoon boat. Eventually maybe a 5th wheel camper. Should I look at a diesel. What about fuel economy. I looked at one with a v10 and it had 76,000. Help!

2001 F 250 supercrew

A "Supercrew" is a 150, and is not available with a V10 or a diesel. Are you looking for the 150 SuperCrew, or a 250/350 SuperDuty Crew Cab?
