Just curious - I'm sure someone on here has run their "tow vehicle."
I'd especially be interested in the early V10 4x2s like mine. I read in MT or somewhere that they got it in the low 17s which seemed pretty quick all things considered.
My race car won't be ready for opening day next month so I may make a couple laps in "the bus." Curious what to expect.
With the goal of turning in a decent ET, all of my planned modifications are being done to make that a reality.
Hopefully I'll have enough cash to complete my Lightning build up, and still be able to build up the Excursion, all in time for Lightning Fest this coming September.

lol yeah, but it should be fine. The track here at Memphis has a shut down that is over a 1/2 mile long and goes into a sweeping turn onto the road course. Even coming down from 140 mph+ in my race car I don't have to get on the brakes too hard. It can even take the turn at 60 mph or so. I doubt the Ex will get much over 80 mph! lol. Highway speeds
I'm sure I'll have someone video it too. Might have to record it in double speed so it isn't so long to watch! ha!
Come to Colorado. There's a soccer mom who heads up the Colorado Powerstroke Club. Her Ex runs low 15's in the 1/4 mile at Bandemire, 6,000 ft. elevation. This summer she may crack into the 14's
That's screaming for Bandimere with no atmosphere available. There are a bunch of people running PSDs and other trucks around, but I don't know of any V10s that have run.
No problem - not V10 only, I'm just more interested in them since that's what I have. I knew the PSDs would be flying (relatively speaking for nearly 4 tons at least). Low 14s with just a tune? Wow - very, very nice.
