Thats what I ended up doing to mine. I'd just like to figure out why its staying closed for so long. I know its not sticking. When I plugged it up it appeared that the engine oil temp and intake air temp sensors were good. Thing really doesnt seem to help it warm up any faster anyway. Probably just end up leaving it unplugged
