there is only a couple,
not sure about the base though,
could be older dp tuner, ts perfromance, ats chip, wop perfromance chip, and there is a few more i cant think of right off hand, but these are the most used ones ive seen, you may find the makers mark on the chip itself conneted to the computer under the dash on the drivers side behind the parking brake.

It depends... you may be able to just move the PCM enough to be able to grab and unplug the chip. Or, the black cover, if it's in place, may need to be pulled off (unbolted first) to get at the chip. I don't think you'll have to unbolt the large bolt that connects the harness to th PCM through the engine compartment, though.
