Arrow Wish me luck

Well, I'll be going for rotator cuff repair on Thursday the 25th. Supposed to be an out patient deal so I can go home after. However, I guess I'll be strapped up for a couple of weeks anyway if not longer. Then weeks/months of rehab after. Maybe after that I'll be back to breaking 1/2" bolts with the cheater bar and doing 12 oz. curls again.
I have 2 speciallists that are going to be working on me so we have hopes for the best.

That's the best explanation for unintelligible posts for a couple of days after that.

Then when you run out of that excuse, you'll have to come up with a new one...

Good luck sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I could get mine done, but oh well, just have to live with it. Some days aren't too bad...

Straws work well if you can't draw back them twelve ounce curls.
The only problem is, the brew gets kind of foamy... Yes, this is from experience.
Glad we got that engine out before you became too much of a gimp.

Good luck with your surgery bud. I'm sure all will go well.
Regards, Tim

Dan, don't let it go too long or you will have to live with it.

Tim, you're right about that, not that I was much help anyway. As far as the beer goes, I still have one good arm

Thanks guys for the well wishes, I'll post up after I become coherrent again.

the deed is done

well, i made it. the procedure took an hour longer than the surgeon figured, but that's always expected. from what my wife told me, the shoulder was really screwed up. it feels like today, that's for sure, but i have some of the good stuff and an electro stimulator that's supposed to block some of the pain. i had never heard of such thing but it seems to work now that i know how to adjust it.
no capitol letters for awhile as i can't get a finger up to the shift key and i can stay awake for about an hour at a time.

chat at you guys later and thanks again.

Good news Rich. I just got home from physical Therapy today (trying to avoid surgery) and had to go straight to digging a 24" hole for a satelite dish pole in the yard. (someone had to do it). Man, that ice crust was brutal. Then, once past the ice, I found lots of big rocks. Woohoo. That was fun. OUCH! I hope I didn't screw up my shoulder too bad today or I will end up going under the knife too.
Glad all went well for you. If there is anything you need, let us know. We'e here for ya, Tim

Tim, didn't you know you're not supposed to do stuff like that...?
At our age we tend to be a little more fragile, donchaknow...!
