I bought a new Super Crew in July of '06 and in September I had injector problems; the #7 got replaced after the CE light came on and the shuddering all but stopped me in my tracks. Happened again in December and just last night, yet again. In Dec. I came in due to the shuddering and they "reset the computer" which is a fancy way of saying that they disconnected the positive terminal on the battery for 10 minutes and everything reset to the factory originals; they said they couldn't replicate the problem and everything checked out okay until last night.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like something in the gas tank or bad fuel. If they replaced the injector and it went bad again. I haven't had any problems with the injectors. Hope they clear it up for you.

Ive got a stupid question. I see its said that when the computer is reset it goes back to factory settings. If ive had a reflash for the throttle hesitation would a reset cancel the reflash and goe back to factory settings or is that locked in somehow and not erased??
I have read about issues with the fuel injectors starting with the 05 my f150. Ford changed suppliers and the new fuel injectors have a habit of hanging up or getting stuck. Ford will only change them as they go bad or as allowed by ford warranty.
I had an injector stick open on my 05 Scew (5.4L) last month. The truck had 16,000 miles on it and died on the road as I was driving it in to be checked out. To make a long story short, they replaced the bad injector, replaced the spark plugs per a TSB, replaced the CAT since it melted internally and changed the oil/filter. I only have about 500 miles on the truck since this work was done, and so far so good. Not sure if I'll have more injector problems...guess time will tell.
Sorry for the lemon law blurb; thanks to all for their input.... I think I just got a "friday car" and am going to go with the preverbial flow. It seems that I picked the wrong dealership because now their balking at what needs to be done... just can't seem to get the best results *sigh*
