I have been monitoring your mails in reference to 40 ford wiper kits. It is possible to install 40 ford passenger wiper towers on the 40 pkp cowl when the tower holes are relocated. A new pair of Bob Drake wiper towers are available for $129.00 from Mr. 40's as well as a 2 speed 12volt ford wiper motor that mounts easily to the underdash and tower control arms, the 40EWS (electric wiper system) is available for $159.00. Blades are $15ea, Arms are $20ea.

I installed '40 wiper towers & electric motor (all from Bob Drake) 4-5 years ago, using the guidelines published by Mr40's.

BTW: the intermittent wiper switch sold by Newport Engineering works beautifully with the Bob Drake wiper motor.

My son and I just installed a New Port Engineering wiper kit in his '40. Yes, the $330 plus $20 shipping gouged into the budget but they fit like a glove and work great with no fooling around and cobbling up something that was designed for another vehicle. They stand behind their products and the technical support is very good. I had to call them because of a perceived clearance problem that turned out to be a brain f++t on my part. Love those two speed wipers and there is an optional intermittant switch available that plugs right into the harness. I should apply for a sales position with them. Nothing like a satisfied customer.
