Windshield Wipers Failed
Hello guys,
I got a 2005 Ford F150 2WD Crew cab 4.6L truck. I was driving a couple days ago, and it started raining off and on. I began to turn the wipers on and off accordingly. Little later I went to turn them on again and the wipers failed to start. this is what I have done for trouble shooting: Checked the fuse, According to the owners manual, the fuse that controls the wipers also controls the windshield washer pump (the windshield washer pump works), Disconnected the electrical connection at the wiper motor. I had turned the key and checked the voltage at the switch, there are two big wires out of four had power with 12v's each. I also turned the wipers to the different positions, and never got any electrical response out of anything else. Every other function connected to the switch works besides the wipers. Does anyone know how to diagnose whether it is the motor or the wiper switch?
