Macs Antique Auto Parts - Go to macsautoparts.com and there is a list of the various catalogs you can order online.
We prefer making a list of what we need &/or want and go to the larger classic car shows. That way you can see what you get and can usually talk them down on the price.
I am sorry, but i dont know. But i just got my 46 ford and i was wondering if you would tell me when you find out. I am only 20 and dont know alot about trucks, but i relly need all the help i can get.!! Thanks lisa
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-Nov-02 AT 02:23 PM (EST)]Lisa, check out CW Moss in Orange, CA. I think their web address is cwmoss.com. Also try Mac's in NY. I believe they advertise somewhere on this site. Bob Drake in Oregon has a good selection of stuff as well. A hint, when looking for parts places, also look for the catalogs that are for 1932-1948 Early V8, or passenger cars. These early trucks used a ton of parts from the passenger cars.
P.S. Welcome to the boards! You'll find lot's of good info here. And it's nice to see somebody else besides me in their early 20's (I'm 22) with a pre '48 truck.

Yeah, I am probably one of the youngest ones in the pre '47 Forum...joined up when I was 21. Of course, this is a 4 year old thread, I am 26 now. I have been working on and collecting pre '47 info for over 10 years now, got my first '46 when I was 14 and have been working on them and collecting them ever since. I've amassed a very large collection of item, ads, dealership training books, dealership sales banners, posters, etc...it's become one of my passions.
No Problem loholland, everybody on here is just trying to help out and give as much info as we can. I'm just glad I told him the right name of the company. At least you gave him the web site.
I have 2 rear fenders I'm getting ready to sale if you need some. They are not perfect, but if someone can do good body work then they can have a nice set of original metal fenders for a 46-47 truck. They are 1/2 ton fenders to by the way. Scott
