E4OD won't lock up

E4OD won't lock up
Hey guys, I'm having an issue with the E4OD in my Bronco. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

torque converter clutch solenoid!! Or the wire going to it. If the tcc doesn't engage it won't throw any codes. I disconnected the tcc's in my dads 94 and my 94 F150s on purpose so the converter wouldn't shudder and they never threw any codes or went into "limp mode" I used to be a mechanic at a lincoln mercury dealer, and i had access to fords star tester which is a diagnostic tester, and neither truck ever threw a code. Maybe the solenoid is sticking, the only thing that sucks is, it is on the valve body inside the tranny pan.
