Puppies love shredding paper. When I was a teenager, I bagged groceries for tips at the Commissary on base. I had a shoebox literally overflowing with $1s...you can guess the rest...I was mad!

We hada dog that loved to do that. She would empty a whole box when we were away and it looked like it snowed in the house!
Kinda hard to scold her when I was LMAO.
Miss her now. New dog (4yrs) doesn't seem interested. But she will work feverishly to chew the "squeaker" out of any toy. Then all the stuffing if it is a stuffed toy.
Ya never know what goes on in a dogs mind.

Yep, gotta love them. Our older dog eats the squeakers out of his toys too. He hasn't figured out how to get the squeaker out of his stuffed toy yet though.

My last dog loved to grap the end of a roll of toilet paper & run through the house unrolling it. He did it a few times & covered the house with paper.Snickers will shred paper to get your attention when he wants to play. He will grap any piece of paper he can & shred it till you play with him.

My dog eats paper towels and kleenex, but only if they're used. Every time my mom comes home and hangs up her coat the first thing she checks for is kleenex in the coat pockets. If none there, she will look for mom's purse, one or the other usually has a kleenex in it. She's not afraid to dig around to look either.

Had a Dalmation once that ate a pound of Hershey Kisses, foil and all.........shiniest poop you've ever seen.

And no, for some strange reason the chocolate didn't kill her.....(maybe the foil buffered it??) LOL!!

Oh, BTW, our two current dogs LOVE Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, shredding cardboard etc...favorite pastime when bored.

Our dog will snap them "up on the run" as he goes by the table. We have to fight him to get him to give 'em up!

I DID give up. I just let him eat them. It doesn't seem to bother him.

Pretty soon I'm gonna start saving money on dog food and just fill his bowl with Kleenex!!

My Chihuahua won't eat paper but she sure loves to jump up to grab the end of the toilet paper rolls and tear it into tiny pieces, and then jump around in it and finally lay in it like a little cozy bed to take a nap. <center>
