Ok since there are not enough threads on the BTS valvebody yet. i will start another as not to highjack someone elses.
well my question is this, are they alll the same or are they specially made for what each person will be doing with their truck.
im going to be ordering one here pretty quick and wanted to know if i had to specify that i was going to be replacing my current chip with a dp tuner in the near future. and also if i had to specify the chip, would it affect the truck if i did not run the chip yet i still ran the VB
Yes they are all "custom tuned" to fit your applications. He usually sets them up for the 80hp tune, and since i ordered this when i had 37" tires, he made the valve body a little stiffer for the larger tires. He said he upgraded to a 100hp tune which would compensate for the extra strain. It shifted great then, but when i took them off and now im running 32" tires, and it shifts a whole lot firmer now, which i really like. If you like a really firm shift, inquire about a 100hp body.
