lugnut spacing
I have an 02 Ranger edge 2WD. Does/has ford had a standard spacing on the lugs. 4 1/2" is one i have found. the reason i ask is because i have a spare set of tires for my truck. i want to put the on my dune buggy i am building but need wheel adapters that go from VW to ford.

Yes the standard spacing for the Ranger wheel studs is 4.5 inches with 5 studs. It's been that way through the entire series of Rangers, 1983 to present. Some other makes also use the 4.5 spacing with 5 studs. The F150 series and F250 series use a larger pattern.
