I got a 2007 f150 supercab 2wd last month, and didn't notice that the bumper isn't spaced evenly spaced. When I first really noticed it, I figured that was how it was supposed to be, because on both the driver and passenger side, it had a gap of like 1 1/2" (I haven't measured, but the distance isn't really the problem, its the idea), and it gets closer to the truck (i'm not sure what its supposed be called, i guess the body?) in the middle, but then I saw a truck of the same generation, and it was evenly spaced throughout.
Alright, so my point of this is to ask if there's a way I can adjust the bumper so that its even all the way across without having to go to a body shop.
It's usually a two man job to get it spaced evenly. There are two brackets that hold it to the frame. Just loosen them up and have someone step back and let you know when it's even. Once it is tighten it down and you are set. I just replaced my front bumper myself about 3 months ago due the car wash guys backing into it.

Alright, thanks, gonna try this on Thursday (my first opportunity to mess with anything).
I'll let you know how it goes.
I had some free time, and looked at it, and just tried if I could just do it right then and there. I tried 3/8" and that was too small. I tried 7/16" and that's too big. Is there anything in between that I could try, metric or otherwise?
The adjustment I am talking about is the ones that hold the bumper to the frame. The nuts are much larger then a 10mm and typically take an impact to adjust. I can't remember off the top of my head what size they are.
