I recently bought a used F-350 Lariet (2004) with the keyless entry keypad under the door handle. Where do I look to find the factory code? I want to put in my own code but I need the factory code first to make that happen.
My 06 came with a Credit card that had it on it. Did you look in the owners manual (if you got one).
I looked in the manual and it said that the code is also on the computer module. Not sure where this is located, but I think it is in the drivers side kick panel..
I had a 88 Lincoln that had the code in a few different places on a white sticker.
Try looking in the glove box and also around the door frames...It is a 5 digit number..
You can also get it from a Ford dealer according to the book, but they probably just read it off the computer and charge you for it..
It is up under the dash, over the drive shaft hump under the radio area. It is approx 4"x3" and has the number printed on it w/o reference to what it is for. Suggest looking from the drivers side for it.
Do a search as this has been discussed several times and some posted pics of it.
