I have it on good authority the hold-up is due to demons from h e l l possessing the early run!! Most have been exorcized but the demons possessing the red trucks are proving to be most troubling.

Have you managed to weasel any more information out of KTP? Like I said earlier, my dealer syas my truck was built on the 8th, but you say the plant was closed that week. I want my new toy so I can go get me anoter new toy, aka 5th wheel.

Today I received from Ford a poster of the new F450. Small print on the back says
"*Coming February 2007."
So hopefully for those who have ordered and those like me hoping they rill cause a price drop in the 05's and 06's no later than Feb. 1st

I checked with my dealership today as the weekly Ford order status sheets are updated here in BC. I ordered the 2008 6.4L Lariat SD extended cab on 7 December and the truck was built during the week of 8th January. The last two weekly order status indicates ETA at dealership during the week of 5 February. I live in BC which couldn't be any further from the truck plant. As an added item of interest, the dealership had received a carton of 2008 Super Duty showroom brochures today. Guess where I am going tomorrow.

I like the way these trucks look in silver.
I figured they will ship the stored trucks right at the end of January, like, 2 or 3 days before Feb 1st so that way they arrive at the dealers after the first of Feb, to make sure that they comply with the law.

Saw an ad from a local dealership on TV yesterday talking about the hugh discounts on the '07 trucks. They were pushing pretty hard! My first thought was that they knew they had to make room VERY soon for the '08's.
I imagine the deals on '07's will be great very soon if the '08's sell as well as I think they will.

I talked again today (about 2PM EST), and my source says that there was going to be another meeting today at 4PM EST to discuss whether they would release the trucks or not. She said that she "thought" there would not be a problem with releasing them and starting to ship tonight. Unfortunately, I did not call back before 5PM to see if she had the verdict from the meeting. Looks like I will know on Monday. I will pass it on as soon as I hear. Oh, and she told me they were currently sitting on 12,000 +- Trucks ready to ship. Wow! I asked her to please have someone go wax mine so it was pretty when I get her. Good luck and cross your fingers!
