'08 Delivery Delayed ETA Unknown

According to my contact today (Tuesday), there was a meeting on Friday about the release of these trucks, and as of yet, they will not be released. I will call back this Friday, to maybe find out more. 
I can't wait. I sold my 1999 Powerstroke last Thursday thinking I would get the new one this week .
I will keep you up to date, as I hear.
For clarification, there was no talk about any cancellation of the trucks, just that the '08s that have already been produced would not yet be shipped, until some corporate decision was made.

Another lady I talked to said that she believed that the big wigs from Detroit were going to be down for a meeting this Friday, and they may decide it then. I just wanted to keep everyone as excited as I am up to date. Yippee.

The wife and i were on our way to downtown Tampa yesterday. I happend to see a lot full of F series trucks near a rail road terminal.
Many were the 250's and up. Just thought I would tell ya all. I do not know what this means, but I remember Dodge did the same thing when they could not release thier new pickups for what ever reason.

Latest I have heard as of today.
QC problems, not related to the 6.4L is what is delaying shipment. Paint is supposed to be one of the problems. The comment I got was it looked like they were being painted with rollers.
Tentative release date is now early February.
