Even though I'm not an environmentalist, I treasure this whole planet and the awesome power that lurks beneath it's surface and in it's oceans. I treasure the absolute beauty of everything that grows. I treasure the mountains around me and their complex beauty. I treasure my wife and my pets, for without them I'd be nobody. I treasure having what few friends I do have. They'll all do to ride the river with. I treasure my freedom, that so many have fought and died for. I try to treasure each day that I wake up and am still able to get out of bed and walk, even though it's painful.
There are just too many things I take for granted, that I do truly treasure.
