Check Engine Light after Cat removal
I just replaced my Cat on my '06 F250 6.0L with an MBRP Catalytic Test Pipe. As expected, the Check Engine Light came on upon startup. I disconnected and reconnected the batteries and the light went away until the next restart. What's the best solution?

No sensors. You can take it to Autozone and they'll pull the code for you for free. Dealer may make an issue of no cat.

I wouldn't go no where near a dealer without the cat. 4X4's recommendation seems to be the best approach.
