Well, I'm still interested - but I still don't have the answer I need.

What advantage/disadvantage is there when I am pulling my 15,000 pound 5er in Tow/Haul?

I've been told by the techies at GearVendor that the 5R100 is pretty good for heavy loads and doesn't need messed with.

Sorry was not sure what truck we were talking about, I agree the 5R100 will take care of all the lock up features through the tow haul mode. Do not really see a need to mess with it...

Not sure you are looking to buy one, but click the image to learn more about the BD Torque Loc Controller. It has the advantage of a cut off speed so you do not need to turn it off when coming to a stop.
