Which Inlet Manufold ?
I have an 89 F150 with 5 Ltr EFI motor. Not truck's original motor. I had problems with the lower inlet manifold so went to buy a used one to replace it, only to find that the inlet ports from my upper manifold are rectangular and the ports on the manifolds I keep getting given are sort of oval shaped. My upper manifold won't fit the other manifolds anyway. Can anyone tell me what vehicle/motor has the rectangular ports. Friend seems to think motor is out of a Bronco but I just think it's a year/model issue.

The intake manifolds are truck specific - it sounds like you are getting lower manifolds from cars. You should be able to use a lower manifold from any 85-96 truck with the 5.0. You do have the twin throttle body, right?
