mine is the same as robts basically. The stereo place built the enclosure for my truck. it is a tight fit, but no the cone can move just fine

My subwoofer setup is similar to robts except that I have dual not quad drivers back there. The enclosure sits right on the floor and is perfectly wedged behind the rear bench . I am very happy with the bass level and in fact have it toned down (getting old I guess) and I do travel with rear passengers often, so a behind the seat setup is ideal for me.
