Vehicle Height

Can anyone tell me what the finished height of a 1951 F1 (16" rims)after a full stock restoration. My truck is currently in pieces and I am building a shed with an overhead garage door to house the vehicle when completed. Is a 7 ft. high garage door high enough?

According to a old issue of Cars & Parts magazine, The F-1's are 75 inches wide and 78 inches tall. I have the same problem with my 1950 F-1 as my existing garage door is 80 inches and no room to raise!

One problem you'll have with a 7' opening is that you won't be able to go in with the radio antenna up. If you have an electric opener, or depending on the door tracks, you may also limit how high you can lift the truck. Go with a tall door.
