1991 ford supercab shortbox 4x4, bought it about 2 months ago, and its gonna be done hopefully in another month, and then hopefully i can get a real cool old project
1967 Ford Mustang Convertible. Been our project since 2000 when we bought it. We've won 5 awards with it, but it's always a project. We're about to give it a lil performance boost soon, too.
Always lookin for an ol' car to build a Rod out of too.
In April, we bought a 1991 Ford Crown Victoria that was formerly a California Highway Patrol car. We're getting close to having it the way we want it, but I'm sure it will never be finished. We brought it to an Emergency Vehicle show in August, and received a trophy for "Best Out of Service Police Cruiser." It's stored for the winter, so it will sit there until spring.
I'm working on a '79 LTD. It's a CA car so I'm dealing with some funky emissions crap. It runs good, and will light up the back tires at will. It just needs some TLC body wise. The roof basically needs replaced as well as the rear rocker panels.
Just started a 68 Chebby C-10. Not so much of a project vehicle as a fix-er-up for winter vehicle. Still needs work nonetheless though. Should be done next weekend. Gonna buy a Mustang in the spring.
1985 Bronco, started working on it in 1995, haven't done much since. Like a dummy, I let it sit on the side lines while I got new toys. I'm planning on getting to it in the near future, hopefully.
1972 F-100 4x4, I think I got it in March and blew the engine in April, so it's been a project since mid-May. Currently, it has no front clip, no tires under it, no engine in it, I notched out the frame for a power steering conversion that's almost done. I have to cut apart two front axles to put together one in the configuration I need, drop the rear of the radius arms, install lift springs in the front, make new style motor mounts, build headers, put the engine back together, modify the intake for EFI, pull the cab and bed, sandblast the frame, install pickup points for the rear 3/4 link system, cut the frame out and weld in spring buckets for rear coils, get D60FF rear, install pickup points for suspension system, install rear disk brakes, box frame, paint frame, blast and paint cab and front clip, install cab and front clip, make new wiring harness with all aftermarket electric gauges, build, paint, and install flatbed on truck. Then all the little stuff can be done, like all new glass, new weatherstripping, grill inserts, tires and wheels, front and rear bumpers, etc......
It's almost done-
which project do ya want to know about? I've got the 40 Ford on the driveway, the 83 ranger still waiting till I can scare up a 302 and auto to mount on it, and soon, I'll probably have an 84 F150 to play with.
My family 68 campa special...project since 1992. WHen the steering messed up and the carb aswell.
