First, I woudl check all of your fuses. Then (I know you don't want to hear this) start tracing wires to see if anything got cut, burned or pulled loose.
There should be a couple of more connectors on the left fender panel where the tach wire "Y's" off. One goes to the ignition module, or computer, etc... the other goes to the tach in the dash etc..
Should be a green/yellow stripe color wire you are looking for.
