hay everyone
I have been reading a bunch of posts but haven't found any on performance chips. I have a 2001 E-250 with the 5.4 and I am looking for a chip that a non gear head can install for more power and better gas mileage. can anybody give suggestions on chips they have used, not read about, or anything else I might consider. I am pretty comfortable installing certain stuff on my van but don't have the shop or tools required for certain mods.
Any suggestions are welcome.

 

Look under forums elsewhere in ford-trucks there should be an entire section devoted to computers performance chips troubleshooting.

thanks for that idea but I am not asking for help troubleshooting but for someone to suggest a chip or tuner that works with the 5.4 in a E-250.
I am not sure if it would be the same chip or tuner that works in a F-250.

check out SCT tuners they make the best tuners out there and they have tuning for the 5.4

 

I am pretty sure that Mike at Troyer Performance has written custom tunes for a van. I would try them. They deal with the SCT tuners.
