For a fiberglass hood try:

They sell a smooth hood (no holes) for $375
For a used steel hood try:
http://www.midcityautosupply.com/
They are in Hastings, NE and show a $65 hood.
Try local wrecking yards for a 48-52 hood.

Replacement hoods
In case you want one.... I have an EXCELLENT '52 hood and a good '51 that needs repaired where a hood ornament was installed. Let me know if you are interested and I will send pics...
