the idm mod

does anyone run this mod or have run this mod in there psd could you tell me what you think pros/cons can you run this mod with a chip is it a good idea bad idea and how hard is it to mod the idm

Can't help with that one.
I just know that if moisture gets in the IDM, it fries itself and they ain't cheap.

i can get you the instructions to do it if you want. are you good at soldering and resistors and that kind of thing? this is not something you want to mess up those idm's are $$$. let me know.

i have a spare one that i want to play with but it is from a 95 does it make a difference (the year)

nope all idms are the same. except the the 110's(van) and 120's(sd) they just give more volts but same exact thing.

Mod is worth approx 20Hp and 40ftlbs tork.
Motor runs smoother and starts better with mod
